Insider tips Mabie Forest... Rory Nelson , Dumfries , Scotland I would like to recommend Mabie Forest as an excellent place for visitors to see...the mountain bike trails are excellent with some amazing views from various parts, even on the 'easy' trail...the same applies to the various walks on offer. My kids love to have a picnic in the old woodshed at Mabie, then do the easy walk then go to the adventure playground. Excellent day out.
