Anne Massey null, Dumfries , Scotland Try the Swan at Kingholm Quay just outside Dumfries for fantastic food in a great atmosphere. It's also a very good place to take children and you can walk off lunch or dinner, enjoying the surrounding coutryside. In summer the Beer garden is wonderful too!
