Insider tips Family cyle run near Creetown Mark Hannay, Cardoness Holiday Park Gatehouse of Fleet, Scotland If you have young children who would appreciate easy, safe bicycling, try the cycle route from Creetown to Kirroughtree, mainly along the old railway line. It's about five miles each way, mostly flat and care free. You can stop at Kirroughtree Visitor Centre for lunch, ice cream or refreshments. The Forestry Commission also have an excellent play park there.
