Discover the revitalised and richly re-planted walled garden, glasshouses and maze of Dunskey Estate.
Spend the afternoon walking amongst the vast collection of unique plants in the charming 18th century walled garden, home to a National Collection of Clianthus and Sutherlandia. Find delicious soft fruit and exotic flowers growing in the historic Mackenzie and Moncur 19th century glasshouses. Admire the pristine lawns before taking a stroll through the developing woodland gardens with beautiful lochside views and rich native flora and fauna.
Lose yourselves - or your children - in the Dunskey Maze, believed to be the first planted hedge maze in south west Scotland. Choose from a broad selection of plant sales, all grown at Dunskey. Finally, relax in the tearoom with special murals or on its sunny terrace, and choose from a selection of light lunches and delicious home baking. Tour groups/coach parties are welcome, as are evening visits with supper, preferably by prior arrangement.
