Test your sea legs at Galloway Activity Centre and learn how to sail. Set on the banks of Loch Ken, the calm waters provide a safe and fun environment where you can have a go at a variety of activities. Take an instructor-led class in kayaking, windsurfing or sailing and have a great day out with the whole family.
Dry off with some of the land activities the centre has to offer such as challenging the children to an exciting game of Laser Quest in the woodland. For a real thrill zoom through the trees on the zip line or, if you are feeling brave enough, try the Leap of Faith off a 25 ft platform.
Loch Ken Water Ski and Wakeboard School is another excellent option located at Loch Ken. Set in the stunning Galloway Hills, appreciate spectacular views as you enjoy the watersports. Learn the basics of wake boarding or water skiing or if you have more experience why not challenge yourself to try mono skiing?
For something a little gentler the centre has Ringos, inflatable rubber rings pulled by a speed boat, or the whole family can clamber aboard the large Banana Boat. The school welcomes people of all ages and abilities and their team of expert tutors run a wide range of classes.
If you prefer to stay on dry land, Laggan Outdoor Activity centre is perfect for an afternoon of exciting experiences. Attempt some target practice with archery and clay pigeon shooting or test your coordination with the new reverse steer jeeps.
Mountain balling offers a real thrill so strap yourself and a family member into a big inflatable ball to roll down the slopes or try snowless sledging and race against the children.
